I’ve written for Academy-award, Golden Globe-award, Emmy-award, and Clio-award winning directors. Client list and samples are available upon request.
My background includes writing for a daily newspaper in upstate New York, covering the crime beat and occasionally making up crime stories when news was slow. I also wrote and performed sketch comedy while living in San Francisco, and directed a short comedy starring comedian Patton Oswalt. While living in LA, I wrote for a Howard Stern FX sitcom and was commissioned to write screenplays, including one for producer Adam Merims (Straight Outta Compton, King Richard).
Between TV/screenwriting gigs, my side hustle was copywriting on the Nissan account for Magnet Interactive (acquired by AKQA).
I have a doctorate in Narrative Theory from Ohio State University. I only mention my PhD when I’m losing an argument.
